Ready or Not!

As I finished my packing, I took some time this evening to watch the CNN Special conducted in Nepal that shed some light on the human trafficking done in that area. This has only strengthened my excitement for our trip but also my conviction in dealing with this global problem. As I read through our recommended reading list, I found myself absolutely floored by the extent of gender discrimination and inequality present in the world today. I'm so excited for the opportunity for me to grow more as an individual and open my eyes to the bigger issues that are present in the world around us. So here's to the last post in the US until August!
